BASUK PROFILE
Baddibu Society UK (BASUK) is a UK registered Charity (No: 1162896), formed in the year 2000. It contributes towards the development and maintenance of quality Health and Education in the Gambia. Provides emergency relief fund donations to victims of Natural Disaster both in The Gambia and within its UK local community. The Charity also establish, promotes and nurture mutual understanding, unity, tolerance, and strongly encourages community cohesion among members in the UK. This is done through communal entertainment, socialising, networking, women, and children empowerment as well as maintaining regular communication among its members. The Charity is open to all regardless of the individual’s religious belief, disability, racial background, or sexual orientation. The charity’s activities including cultural events are cordially open to the public.
BASUK consist of a group of likeminded Gambians and non-Gambian members spread all over the UK. The charity has branches in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
